Editorial Methodology & Verification Standards

How APR Logistics researches, fact-checks, mathematically models, and validates content for trucking operators.

Our Core Editorial Philosophy

Operating an independent motor carrier involves genuine financial and legal liability. Inaccurate rate advice, bad compliance interpretations, or flawed cost calculations can result in carrier insolvency or FMCSA safety violations.

Therefore, we adhere to strict editorial principles:

  1. Primary Source Sourcing: All regulatory and compliance information must cite official government publications (FMCSA, USDOT, Electronic Code of Federal Regulations 49 CFR, and EIA). We do not cite unverified forum posts or generic AI summaries.
  2. Mathematical Verification: Every formula in our guides and tools is tested against manual calculation models before publication. Assumptions are explicitly stated.
  3. No Fabricated Claims: We never invent author credentials, testimonials, customer counts, or performance percentages.
  4. Clear Commercial Separation: Our dispatch service and affiliate partnerships never dictate editorial recommendations or software reviews.

The Research & Publication Workflow

Our 6-Step Editorial Process:

1. Operational Need Identification → 2. Primary Source Analysis → 3. Financial & Mathematical Modeling → 4. Editorial Drafting → 5. Fact & Citation Check → 6. Publication with Last Verified Date

Sources & Corrections Policy

We take factual accuracy seriously. If you identify a factual error, out-of-date regulation, or incorrect software pricing model in any of our articles or tools, please notify us immediately.

Please email info@aprlogistics.org with:

  • The URL of the page containing the error
  • The specific text or calculation in question

Corrections are reviewed promptly, and updated articles will reflect a revised “Last Updated” timestamp and editorial note.
